Dear Friends in Christ,
Hearty greetings in the name of our risen Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!
I am so delighted to be able to write you this and pray that it will find you all well as the Lord is leading you in your paths. In spite of all the troubles that are going on in the world today, God’s people always find rest/comfort and relief in God’s Word. Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness. I say to myself, “The Lord is my Portion; therefore I will wait for him. The Lord is good for those whose hope is in him, to the one who seeks him; it is good to wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord. (Lamentations 3:22-26)
We are all fine and things are going well in the church and the school. Kids are at school and parents and teachers and pastors are caught up in their diverse activities. It is good to be God’s workers. He is using us as human instruments to carry out his wonders to the desperate ones. By ourselves we are unworthy to be called God’s instruments, but by grace we are called to accomplish such an honorable position.
This is to thank you so much for your continuing prayers, your support and all the blessings your are sharing with us down here. I have received the checks you recently sent for the ministry of the Good Shepherd and the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Haiti. In the name of all the recipients of these offerings I would like to renew our thankfulness to you. Each time you send even one quarter to us, you give us another opportunity to communicate the saving Word of God to another dying soul. It is also meaningful to us to see that in spite of the economic crisis that the United States are going through, you are still sending your support to us in a regular basis, this, because you are connected to Christ. This is true that a Christian can produce good works only if he/she is connected to Christ.
Again, that you so much and may God continue to bless you and your ministry!
