Parents were invited Friday, August 2nd 2013, to CELEBRATE the children’s Vacation Bible School (VBS) experience.  The VBS Students, Teachers, Volunteers, and Children rallied around to watch a video presentation and enjoy light refreshments as they remembered their week-long ROAD TRIP: ROUTE 3:16 with Jesus.

Thirty children rotated to each station of music, craft, snack, and activities that helped to reinforce the Gospel Lesson and Memory Verse for each day. Over twenty volunteers planned, prepped, and anticipated the execution of each day’s Bible lesson for weeks. What a blessing to see volunteers of all ages serve together in an exciting and enriching manner as the Word of God was shared. Many thanks to all of you who served First Lutheran Church’s VBS and gave your time so freely and with so much joy in your hearts!
